Our Founder/President
I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. The only child of my parents, I had half-brothers and sisters from both sides. I was raised Lutheran, baptized and confirmed, and although I always had a sense of God, and even somewhat of a respect or fear of God, I lived my life far from any standard of God. Romans 1:21 For although they know God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. That was definitely me. I graduated from High School in 1981 and from that time on I was on the fast track to Hell. Pregnant and unmarried at age 21 and again at age 25, things were off to a bad start. My family moved to Minnesota in 1986 and for the next seven years I gave the devil my full attention. Praise be to God that He had other plans for my life. Ephesians 1:11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
In the Fall of 1992, the Lord in his great love and mercy reached down from Heaven, rolled up his sleeves and pulled my half dead body out of the very pit of Hell. He said "My child, enough is enough. You are going to glorify me from now on. I have work for you to do." Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
I was married in July of 2000 to godly man, and between the two of us, we have four beautiful children, and one and a half grandchildren. I love our family! God has been so good to us. I look forward to each day, and I can honestly say that all I want to do is be a humble servant of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is where my true joy is found. True and lasting joy!
The Lord promises he will "repay you for the years the locusts have eaten." Joel 2:25
